    Boomers and Beyond Fall Walking Club Get your exercise and learn about the natural environment surrounding you as you take a walk through the woods. Explore Bendix Woods County Park and Spicer Lake Nature Preserve during this five-part series. Each walk will last approximately one hour. Registration required by September 19.

    Fall Paddle at St. Patrick's County Park Registration for this event is full. Experience the St. Joseph River in the fall for a leisurely 4-mile canoe paddle. Fee includes shuttle, vessel, paddles, and required life jackets. Registration required by September 28.

    Trails at Twilight Explore and discover the world of nature at night! Follow a lantern-lit trail through the STUDEBAKER pine trees, meet a bat expert, go on a fall hayride, make a star finder, look for constellations, roast a hotdog, and make a s'more. Concessions available. Admission for this event is free due to the generosity of these sponsors: The Friends of Bendix Woods and Spicer Lake, The University of Notre Dame, and The Dr. Elmer R. Graber Youth Fun for Exploring Nature.

    Harry Potter Hayride Registration for this event is full. Experience the magic of Bendix Woods on a hayride through the park! Let us equip your young witches and wizards with their very own hand-crafted wand. Remember, no all wands will function properly for each witch or wizard. Conclude your experience with an enchanted drink by our campfire. Registration required by September 28.
