2022 Leaf Collection Information

Any resident in the unincorporated areas of St. Joseph County may sign up to participate in the Voluntary 2022 Leaf Collection Program: 

  • Costs range between $149 - $279 depending on timeliness of registration
  • St. Joseph County subsidizes all participating homeowners equally through direct payments to the vendor 
  • Includes 4 Fall Passes and 1 Spring Pass
  • Service ONLY provided to registered participants

Program Specifics: 

  • Residents MUST register to receive the service and the cost of the service will vary based on the time of the registration and the property/sub-division's leaf density.
  • Registration is handled 100% through the vendor at St. Joseph County Recycling. 
  • All registrants will receive FOUR Fall passes and ONE Spring pass. The first Fall Pass will begin no earlier than the 3rd week in October, and the Fourth Fall Pass will continue up to December 18, 2022 (Weather Permitting).
